Gain an appreciation for the incredible hardships settlers on the Oregon Trail faced as they made their way west. You’ll encounter 80 mph winds and white out blizzard conditions going over South Pass. The road will literally disappear out from under you in black ice and blowing snow. After holing up in Boulder, Colorado for a week to let the weather break, visit some of the most well-preserved wagon ruts on the entire Oregon Trail at Guernsey before resting up at Fort Laramie. And we return to Scott’s Bluff National Monument to take care of some unfinished business.
